On April 21, 2007, SAHG’s 14th Annual “Home Grown” Auction was one to remember! Nearly 300 of our friends and supporters gathered at the Redmond Marriott Town Center and proved that we all know how to have a good time and raise money, with a gross income of $235,000!
The 2007 Auction committee did an amazing job of visualizing and actualizing a beautiful event. For many, the highlight of the evening was hearing from “Jane” during the Special Appeal, a resident escaping from abuse who found security for her family in a unit at a SAHG property. She spoke highly of the new opportunity she was given and how she felt truly blessed to be part of SAHG and its annual event. I can only speak for the staff, but it is safe to say that her story completely encompassed the reason why we are proud to do what we do!
