Imagine Housing is a community based not-for-profit organization based in Kirkland, WA. We empower individuals and families, support diversity and strengthen communities by developing permanent affordable rental housing and providing supportive services. We have an excellent reputation on the Eastside and in the Puget Sound region for our commitment to increasing the stock of affordable housing and as a leader in shaping public policy and affordable housing advocacy. Over 24 years in the community, we have built or acquired 10 properties in 5 Eastside cities, serving more than 850 low-income individuals. Five years ago, we responded to residents’ requests and needs by developing a Supportive Services Program that offers individualized and group support to residents at many of our properties. This support is uniquely tailored to respond to the expressed needs of our residents. While affordable housing provides the first step towards attaining financial and personal stability, greater support is needed to truly develop long-term self-sufficiency.
