Willing to Help?
St. Andrew's Housing Group is a vibrant nonprofit dependent on the active involvement of the Puget Sound community. We are proud to be associated with generous individuals, philanthropic institutions, companies, and local organization who share our sense of purpose and mission. With their help we are transforming King County's Eastside and giving individuals and families a place to call home.
If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of individuals, families, and seniors in need, here are a few ways that you can help:
Volunteer
There are many options for volunteer work with and for our organization. To view SAHG's volunteer page, click here.
Individual and Group projects.
Many companies and organizations have taken on property beautification and resident life enhancement projects. We have worked with boy scouts, girl scouts, eagle scout projects, high school senior projects, university groups, company departments, and volunteer professional contractors to name but a few. If you have a group looking for a volunteer project you can check our listing on United Way or contact our office. There are also many ways for individuals to get involved and support St. Andrew's Housing Group. Check out this form for ways for either individuals or groups to get invovled.
- Specific positions.
We often have specific individual volunteer positions. We list these with on the United Way of King County website.
- Unlisted positions.
Many times we have talented or passionate individuals who would like to volunteer, but do not see a matching position listed. Often, positions are created if the volunteer's skills, interests, or resources match the needs of the organization.

Become an Advocate
No matter what a person's income might be, finding an affordable place to live is our area is difficult. In fact, affordable housing is one of the three most critical problems facing our region. However, the importance of this fundamental issue is often marginalized by other “more popular” local concerns.
We are always looking for friends in the community willing to join us in activities that keep the issue of local housing and homelessness forefront in the minds of officials, decision makers, and people of influence. Some wonderful links to get started in housing advocacy follow:
